The World Reimagined

Open Day | Explore The World Reimagined at Rhodes House!

The World Reimagined has arrived in Oxford! 18 unique large Globe sculptures are now exhibited in the gardens of Rhodes House. The Globes present a Journey of Discovery, exploring themes ranging from Mother Africa to Still We Rise and Expanding Soul with an enormous range of interpretations, creative styles and storytelling.

Join us at Rhodes House on Saturday 9th September 2023 for the Oxford Open Day- and it’s free! It’s going to be a day of learning, reflection, connection and joy for families and the community.

Alongside the outdoor exhibition, you, your family and friends will find:

?️ Cleo Lake: Our Historian in Residence ?

Discover our shared past and present with our historian in residence – Cleo Lake will unpack the history and stories behind The World Reimagined globes. Cleo is a community engagement professional, researcher and former Lord Mayor of Bristol. Cleo is driven by the utilisation of creativity and performance to aid civic engagement and to reframe story telling as a tool to embed cultural knowledge, empathy, understanding and cohesion.
